Examples of the jobs we can do:

  • Put up shelves and cupboards, coat-hooks, curtain poles, roller blinds etc.
  • Repair wooden fixtures and fittings e.g. skirtings, architraves, garden gates, sheds, fencing
  • Ease and re-hang doors that stick
  • Alter cupboards, blinds, shelves etc. that don't fit where you want them to go
  • Assemble and install your flat-pack furniture
  • Put down laminate flooring or board your attic
  • Hang pictures, mirrors or photos
  • Fit draught-proofing or loft insulation
  • Fit bolts, catches and security chains, or replace door locks
  • Clear terraces and patios
  • Clear gutters, downpipes and drain grids
  • Strimming, grass cutting, ground clearance
  • Bag rubbish ready for collection
  • Change fuses and plugs, lamp bulbs and fluorescent tubes

  • Major pipework and electrical installations
  • Gas or LPG (Calor) appliance servicing
  • Building or roofing work
  • Complete room decoration or renovation, new tiling, carpet fitting
  • Gardening except simple clearance/cutting
  • Drain jetting
  • Any job requiring scaffolding or more than one person to do safely
  • Rubbish clearance and removal to tip
  • Supply items from stock to fix your problem - generally, you buy and we fit. However, we can often arrange to bring things like electrical and plumbing fittings if you can tell us exactly what you need.

February's handy tip:

Check that your gutters and downpipes are clear - get an umbrella and go out into the garden in a rainstorm to look! Otherwise you risk expensive and possibly uninsured water damage to your house walls and woodwork.
